Our client is a leading developer of Surrounding Gate Transistor semiconductor technology, operating in Dubai, UAE.
The client’s challenge
Our client faced a complex challenge as their office in the Jebel Ali Free Zone Area underwent downsizing. A large volume of files, including invoices and financial documents, needed to be relocated efficiently. Complicating matters, turnover in staff responsible for filing left remaining team members uncertain about the whereabouts of crucial documents. The absence of an organized system made finding files a cumbersome and time-consuming task. The client sought a long-term solution to facilitate easy document retrieval for current and future staff.
The solution
In response to our clients challenges, Crown Records Management executed a comprehensive solution to streamline document management. Over the course of one week, despite access limitations imposed by the free zone area, we successfully relocated around 700 boxes containing approximately 3000 files from their current location.
The relocation process involved re-boxing, barcoding, and indexing of each document to ensure efficient organization and easy retrieval. Despite the challenging circumstances, Crown Records Management managed to complete the relocation swiftly and efficiently. Upon completion, the client was provided with a full inventory of their documents, empowering them with the ability to retrieve files quickly and accurately when needed.
